Western Lurex in Marfa Lights Stripes

Here at Richter Goods, we always design with juxtaposition in mind. So it comes as no surprise that we like a little bit of sparkle in our western wear.

Lurex, a metallic yarn invented in the 1940s, became popularized in western wear in the lates 60s and early 70s. It mixed traditional western shirting with the glitz of disco fashion.
