The green striped pattern perfectly blends 90s Western vibes and rodeo cowboy at the beach. The fabric of this shirt is what pulls it all together. It's soft and slick but thicker than the old-school rayon variety. A beaut.
Had this shirt for a few months now and I love it. It runs true to size so if you’re wanting to use as an over shirt it might be worth sizing up. The shirt obviously has the western characteristics but comes in a more modern cut with a length that works tucked in or out and a comfortable sleeve length. The material is out of this world, soft, firm and very warm.
Quality light flannel material that’s versatile across seasons. Soft but sturdy quality. The finish is smooth and elegant. Fits so good , bang in with the sleeves and shoulder/chest especially. At 5’9” 171 lbs with athletic build the Large fit perfectly (I’m often between medium and large so the recommendation to size up applies). It’s simple design with sophisticated details (the chest flap curves) make it both casual and smart to wear in many settings. One of the best fitting ready to wear goods I have ever worn…I’m impressed.
The fabric quality and workmanship is really nice. It's a bit on the fitted side, so order 1 size up if you want a looser fit. The sleeve length was a bit on the short side., but still wearable. After contacting them, they told me next time to give them a custom measurement since most shirts are made to order. Service was excellent.
I'm super happy with this shirt and get lots of compliments. It's well made with nice details and the fit is near perfect for me although the sleeve length borders on being short if you have long gangly arms.
I ordered this shirt in Large originally and did exchange it for an XL. I was unsure of the fit and didn't want it too baggy. The XL worked out great. I am 6'1 and 185. The shirt is light weight but keeps me warm under a proper winter jacket. The quality of the shirt is the best I own and I really enjoy the fit and finish with the snap buttons. I expect this to be an heirloom item and so far so good.
So, recently, I have been trying really hard to make one of those Freaky Friday situations happen between myself and Pedro Pascal. I know you are supposed to be family, for this to work, according to early aughts movie lore, but since Mr. Pascal is - technically - everybody's daddy, I think it might still be in play. Just in case I figure out the physics of this whole phenomena, I bought this cozy little party crasher. It feels like appropriate attire to crawl through an entire generation's fantasies, like, just imagine, body half buried in the bathroom vanity as I slowly tighten the nuts that hold the faucet to the sink. The way my shoulders ambulatory motion transfers to the slight twisting of the exposed leg (in chinos, duh), as this fine breathable slice of fabric slips an inch up the dad bod, and you can almost hear the sound it makes, somewhere between felt and velcro. Imagine my head finally pops back into view, and you are confronted with that exact, perfectly calibrated mustache, and the soft but firm voice telling you, go ahead kiddo, it's all fixed, all better now. You're safe. All this, in a shirt that screams Pablo Escobar's sweet older brother. But wait, wasn't that the plot for that movie he did with Nicolas Cage. In fact, I think Richter did another one once with dice and playing cards. Leopard print western wear, what!?!?! Classic Cage...
The first ever pearl snap western shirt was made in 1879 by Halibeesus Lang, who had an Apothecary in Tomagachi, TX. After first inventing the reversible ink-well, he set his mind to haberdashery, hoping to design a shirt that could quickly transition to barechested in those brutal Texas summers. Inspired by the linking flesh-armor of the lovely armadillo, he created an entire new category in the work-wear milieu that doubles as dancin' duds. He might have been better remembered if he hadn't died suddenly in a line-dancing accident, with no next of kin to lay claim to his ingenious, 1,000 dollar idea (hey, man, that was like, a lotta money back then), and he was slowly wiped from the history books by a shadowy polyester conspiracy plot, but the heritage of his fantastical and brilliant efforts are alive and well with Richter Goods. This shirt licked my hide in every barfight I've ever been in. Have you ever seen a man break his fingers on a shirt? I have... these pearl snap are like brass knuckles. Halibeesus would be proud! (p.s. the cords are righteous and textural. people stop me all the time to touch my shirt, and most of them aren't even creeps...)
I even went to a gas station and I'm sure I scared him half to death. But he couldn't keep his eyes off of this jacket. I'd buy a million more.
I am blown away each time I order a shirt from Richter. These shirts fit me perfectly and I can't get enough of them. This shirt is special. The fabric takes me to a special place in my memory with my grandpa. Thanks Richter for nailing this vintage material and western, yet modern design.
The cut of this shirt is perfect. It is the right shape to allow it to be worn untucked or tucked. The fabric is incredibly soft and the buttons are a fantastic design detail.
In addition to the shirt being amazing, customer service is excellent as well. The first shirt I ordered for my husband was too large. Once we confirmed the replacement size I ordered fit, I was directed to simply return the shirt that didn't fit for a refund.
Additionally, once the size was confirmed I was able to place a larger order for Christmas. I wasn't able to get the promotional pricing shown in the email but a simple e-mail informing customer service of my trouble resulted in them adjusting the final price of the order.
My husband is going to adore his clothes and I look forward to continuing to buy great products that are made of natural fibers in a sustainable way.
This shirt is definitely a head turner, I received so many compliments! It is extremely comfortable and fits like a glove. The small details that go in to making the shirt show how much they care about putting out only the highest quality products with the best fabrics out there! The best part is it is locally hand sewn in San Antonio! The clay colored snap buttons are a nice addition to the shirt!
The absolute highest quality and most comfortable shirt you will ever wear! You can see in the small details the time and effort put into making such a high quality shirt and the flannel material is the softest and warmest you won’t want to take it off. It will definitely move to the front of my shirt rotation in my closet!
Let's talk about soft. Not the best thing on the streets, but on your back? Have you ever worn a latex bodysuit made out of a cirrus cloud? What if I told you that you could be buried in your eternal resting place in a snuggie. The soft I am talking about might end any future world wars, might make world peace irrelevant, might reduce the eons long history of human struggle and evolution into one single cuddle puddle, until we simply evaporated into the increasingly fuzzy connective tissue of that single sensation--soft. That's what this shirt is. It takes a hard man to know it. So you have my permission. Treat yourself...

I was so excited to find stylish, quality and locally made men's short sleeve western shirts after my husband expressed a desire for some. I ordered 2 shirts, four months ahead of his birthday, while they were available (I noted that many styles indicated "Sold Out" on their website). I put a note on my order, indicating my timeline as well as expressing my concern regarding his 6'2" height, questioning whether they would be long enough. I received a nice email offering to add 2" to their "standard" length, since these shirts are "made to order" anyway. I replied, thankful for this offer and noted that I had measured some of this existing shirts to be 29-30" long. I received another reply saying that 2" addition should turn out perfect for him. I was told that they would go into production in 2-3 weeks. When I received the 2 shirts they only measured 27" long. I sent an email questioning what happened that they weren't made to my order and never received any response. Since his birthday is still 2 months away, well past any return policy accommodation, I'm definitely anxious as to whether this will be the birthday gift that he was hoping for.
Absolutely beautiful and incredibly well made pearl snap shirts! Beyond quality and an amazing company to work with! Thank you Richter!
