I’m 6,1 and.185 pounds. I’m still skinnier than most. In some brands I can wear large, but just to be safe I got an X-Large. It was a little too small. And is generally smaller than my other X-Large button up shirts. I love this shirt and wish it fit me just a little better. This company is great. I bought a xxl with another one of their shirts after this one , and one time through the wash had it fitting well. I couldn’t return this shirt because I fooled myself into thinking it fit then I washed it and then the rest is history.
Love this shirt, especially for going out in the summer heat. The fit and quality are perfect. I’m usually a solid color shirt guy but life is too short so live it up.
It's a beautiful shirt, well made, but... it SHRANK CONSIDERABLY after its first wash. I ordered an XL and it fit great out of the packaging. I expect some minor shrinking after washing but it went from draping nicely to skin tight. The online size guide says an XL shirt has a waist measurement of 46, and mine shrank down to 41.5 after the wash. Maybe they forgot to pre-wash or pre-treat the fabric? None of my other cotton shirts have shrunk like this one even after years of washing. Even though the website says no returns after items have been washed I'm returning it anyway whether or not I get a refund. I'm never getting my 25 year old waistline back, which is the only way this shirt will now fit.
