Jack Donnelly – Cone Mills White Oak Selvedge Denim Pant for Men
THE PANT
These jeans are made by hand with real attention to detail, following the same methods that built the reputation of classic American denim. Each pair is cut and stitched with purpose, designed for a dependable fit and everyday comfort that lasts. The pattern takes its cues from old workwear—straightforward, practical, and built to endure. There’s nothing extra or artificial here, just honest jeans that break in naturally and grow better with time.
THE FABRIC
They’re built from 14oz deadstock selvedge denim, woven from 100% cotton at Cone Mills’ White Oak plant in North Carolina — a name that once defined American denim. The mill shut down in 2017, which means this fabric is truly limited. The 2x1 twill weave makes it sturdy but comfortable, breaking in slowly and showing wear patterns unique to you. Every pair fades differently, carrying its own story. Once this deadstock denim is gone, it’s gone for good.
Don’t wash your jeans too often — only when they really need it. When you do, stick to cold water and hang them up to dry. It keeps the fit right and the color true. Skip the dryer completely; with time and wear, they’ll break in and fade in their own honest way.
THE FIT
They sit naturally at the waist with a straight, slim fit through the hip and leg — a cut that feels modern but stays true to traditional denim roots. Each pair comes chainstitched and hemmed at a 36" inseam. The fabric will give about an inch in the waist as it breaks in, so a snug first fit is just right.

THE LEGACY
Jack Donnelly #023 comes from old Cone Mills White Oak selvedge denim. The first wear feels a bit rough, but it doesn’t stay that way for long. These jeans don’t chase trends. They hold shape, carry creases, and start telling your story without asking for attention. The color shifts, the edges soften, and somehow, they begin to feel like a memory you wear. That’s the kind of denim people used to make the kind that sticks around.
